ARLEN SVARE FROG (CLICK HERE)

Arlen Svare is a fairly obscure fish decoy carver from Minnesota. His decoys are
featured in the reference book FISH DECOY MAKERS PAST AND PRESENT and
are niceand authentic as well as being classic examples of old style decoys. This
swimming frog measures just about 7" long and was made about 10-15 years ago.
This is an internally weighted fish decoy. It is hand carved and hand painted with
nice detail and visual appeal. The condition is beautiful, original and unfished with a
small spot of paint loss to one side fin. The carver has signed the decoy on the
bottom with his name carved into the lead belly weight.
