Here is a very unusual, 6 1/2" David Perkins (deceased) trout. The cut out mouth,
carved gills and glass eyes give it a wonderful personality. This is the larger of the
two sizes that Mr Perkins made in what he called his "Bowling Pin" style. The
chubby, round body form gives this style of decoy an excellent visual appeal. This
one is beautiful, original and never used. The maker has signed the belly with his
DFD stamp. It is just about 20 years old.
