Leonard Gilitzer is a very obscure fish decoy carver and his work is seldom seen.
Gilitzer decoys are easily identified by the paint style, body form and the single
line tie. This one is painted red and cream with painted eyes. The length is 7 1/4"
and the decoy is completely original with normal light wear and some paint flaking.
