Here is one incredible statement piece if there ever was one. It is a large wall
plaque by old time master carver David Perkins from Minnesota. Perkins fish
decoys are highly collectible and well documented in reference books on the
subject. Perkins wall plaques are incredibly well made with lots of detail and
excellent folk art qualities. This large Northern Pike plaque measures 36" long and
7 1/2" tall. It has carved gills and a carved mouth as well as carved accents on the
tail fin. It is hand made and hand painted with a glass eye. This plaque will
definitely be a conversation piece in the home or office and is in beautiful, original
condition. The maker has signed the fish on the back with his DFD (Duluth Fish
Decoys) mark.
