JAY TONELLI SUNFISH PLAQUE (CLICK HERE)

Jay Tonelli is a very talented fish decoy carver from Illinois. He made fish decoys
in the early 1990s which are very collectible and highly prized. Recently he began
carving fish plaques. This Tonelli Sunfish is hand carved and beautifully hand
painted. The gills and mouth are also accent carved and the eye is glass. It is a
nice, fat- bodied decoy with full tail and a 3/4 body profile. The length of the actual
fish is 7 1/4" and the rough finished cedar board is 6" x 8 1/4". It is signed by the
carver and dated 2-11. Excellent condition.
