Here is a very interesting, old spear from Michigan. It is marked "Goddeyne Mfg.
Co, Bay City, Mich." this is a nice, lightweight spear that could have been easily
carried over long hikes to favorite fishing spots. It has apressed, steel shoulder
into whihc tines and a handle are inserted. Goddeyne spears were patented in
1939 and this example is estimated to date to the late 40s or early 50s. It is in
beautiful, original condition with light rust. The length is 60 1/2".
