H. CHRISTENSEN SPEAR 1920 (CLICK HERE)

Haakon Christensen was born in Norway in 1859 and came to Minnesota as a
young man. His spears are very early and almost never seen. This example dates
to the 1920s and the man who we got it from remembers his father spearing with it
as a young boy. The interesting thing about this spear is that its handle is not
made from solid stock but rather from a lighter, hollow material. The length is 66"
and the width across the spearhead measures 5 1/2". This spear is nicely hand
forged and has a wonderful, early look and great patina. The points and barbs are
in excellent condition.
