NATIVE AMERICAN FISH DECOYS
John Snow (deceased) was a well known Native American fish decoy carver from
the Lac Du Flambeau in northern Wisconsin. His decoys are highly collectible and
very difficult to come by. This 7 3/4" trout has carved gills, a carved mouth and
carved tail fin features. The eyes are glass. It is in excellent, original and unfished
condition. The carver has double signed the decoy as was his custom. The decoy
would date to the late 1990s.
