Dean Steffen is a highly talented artist and fish decoy carver from Missouri. His
decoys are always visually interesting and well made. This stylized mechanical
from has a tail that can be adjusted to the left or right and can be also rotated to
work up and down. The settings are endless and the decoy could have
outstanding, easily adjusted swimming action. The condition is excellent and
unfished. This interesting decoy has a sucker style mouth carved on the
underside but is painted to resemble a frog in a very abstract fashion. It is
completely hand made and hand painted. The maker has signed the decoy woth
his DS initials on the belly.
