Rick Whitier is one of the best, new carvers working today. He is from North
Dakota. His decoys are still very affordable but that is certain to change as
collectors start catching on. This 9" Burbot has fully carved gill and mouth
features as well as carved tail fin rays. The body is completely covered with
textured scales and the decoy is beautifully made. It is in excellent, unfished
condition and is signed by the maker and dated 2009 on the belly.
