LACROSSE WISCONSION 1940 (CLICK HERE)

This decoy was found in Lacrosse Wisconsin. It dates to about 1940 and is an
example of a decoy that would have been used in spite of the fact that spearing
was made illegal in Wisconsin in the 1920s. The practice continued up into the
1950s by several back- woods fishermen in spite of the law. The length is 6" and
the condition is beautiful and original with normal light wear and good patina.
