This exceptional, folk art spearing decoy is the work of Dean Steffen from Missouri.
The length is 8 1/2" and the decoy is in excellent, unfished condition. It depicts a
Frog riding on the back of a Bass and is carved from one piece of wood. The folk
art qualities are wonderful and the workmanship is outstanding. The Bass and
Frog each have glass eyes and there is plenty of detail carving and painting
throughout this fine decoy. It is in excellent, unfished condition and the maker has
signed and dated the decoy 2005 on the belly.
