C.B. Lewis is one of the most talented fish decoy carvers to come along in several
years. He is from Ohio and carves primarily in a wonderful mix of the Cadillac and
Chautauqua styles but has his own flair. This 8 1/2" Northern Pike has an
exceptional folky form with carved gills, a carved mouth and glass eyes. The tail is
heavy leather. The decoy is beautifully finished in a hand rubbed varnish and the
quality is exceptional. The maker has signed the decoy with his marks which are
stamped into the fins.
