Gordon Swenarton is a very talented fish decoy carver and folk artist from New
Jersey. His decoys have excellent, eye appeal and exhibit great elements of
folk art and whimsey. This wonderful toothy Pike measures 8 1/2" long. It has
glass eyes, and individually carved, wooden teeth. The decoy is painted with a
great looking, spotted motif in a combination of orange, green, red, pink and white.
As with all of his decoys, Mr. Swenarton has given this decoy a special patina that
simulates great age. It is signed on the belly and dated 2011.
