Rick Whitier is a very talented carver from north Dakota. His decoys are not well
known outside of the midwest but that is certain to change as his work is
recognized for its quality, detail and affordability. This 8 1/2" Perch has fully
carved gill and mouth features as well as carved tail fin rays. The body is
completely covered with burned in scales and the decoy is beautifully made. It is
in excellent, unfished condition and is signed by the maker on the belly.
