Larry Ackerman is a well known fish decoy carver from Virginia. He is currently in
his 60s and carves only a few decoys per year. This outstanding Bass measures
10" long. it has fully carved gill and mouth features and glass eyes. The tail fin
rays are hand scribed for added visual appeal and authenticity. The rest of the fins
are patinated copper. This decoy is completely hand made and hand painted with
excellent quality and attention to detail. Ackerman fish decoys are seldom made
available for sale and are highly collectible.
