Gordon Swenarton's fish decoys are exceptionally folky and make excellent
decorator items. He is New Jersey. This wonderful Swenarton Rainbow Trout
measures 6 3/4" long. It has carved gills and a carved, open mouth. The tail has a
mechanical, hinged joint to add a nice, folky element. As with all of his decoys,
Mr. Swenarton has given this decoy a special patina that simulates great age. It is
signed on the belly and dated 2010.
