Fish decoys from the LaCrosse area of Wisconsin are extremely collectible and
increasingly difficult to come by. This4 3/4" trout is finished in natural wood which
has taken on a warm and beautifully patinated look. The eyes are small black
glass beads which have been inserted into a carved socket. The condition is
beautiful and original with just the right amount of age and wear. The wooden tail
is worn down as you would expect in an early decoy that has seen use. This
decoy has a very appealing Trout form and an excellent look.
