WISCONSIN STURGEON 1950 (CLICK HERE)

Old Sturgeon Sizing decoys are highly collectible and very difficult to come by.
This example is made from a heavy sheet of brass which is cut in the profile of a
Sturgeon. The fins are bolted in place and the decoy has a wonderful, folky look.
The belly and fins are painted in a beautifully patinated white and the the brass has
achieved a nice, warm shade over the years. This decoy measures just over 29"
long and would make an excellent statement piece in any collection or display. It
dates to about 1950 and is in beautiful, original condition with normal light wear
and some minor paint loss here and there.
