A.J. DOWNEY "EAT ME" DECOY CLICK HERE

This interesting Fish decoy was made by by A.J. Downey. A.J. does not make
many folk art style fish but rather tends to concentrate on decoys that
resemble realistic species. This example measures 10" long and is hand painted
in a nicely blended gray to yellow base coat. The goofy grin says it all. "Eat Me".
I guess Mr.Downey has a sense of humor after all! It is in excellent, unfished
condition and is signed on the belly with the maker's stamped in mark. The
estimated age is 1990s. Very unusual.
