Ernie Peterson has been carving fish decoys for many years. His decoys are of
consistently high quality and very artistic. They are hand made and hand painted
with excellent detail and nice accent painting. It has been reported that he no
longer carves due to age and health. This wonderful, mini Golden Trout measures 3
1/2" long. It has fully carved gills, a carved, open mouth and glass eyes. The
paint is nicely detailed and top notch. I do not believe Ernie made many minis and
they are very collectible and difficult to find.
