Jim Nelson (deceased) is a well known fish decoy carver from Michigan.His work
spanned several decades and is very collectible. Nelson's folky form is easily
identified and collectors like these decoys for their unique design and coloration.
This open mouth pike is 8" long. It has carved gill, mouth and tail fin features. the
condition is excellent, original and unfished. The carver has signed and dated the
decoy 2004 on the belly.
