Mark Bruning is a well known fish decoy carver with a career dating back several
decades. Most collectors are familiar with the highly collectible fish decoys made
by his father Ken Bruning in the 1950s. Ken had severely limited physical abilities
and all the fish he painted were actually carved by his son Mark. This
contemporary Mark Bruning Brook Trout measures 11" long. It is in excellent,
unfished condition. Mark Bruning decoys are completely hand carved and hand
painted. This unusually large Bruning Brook Trout is signed MLB and dated 2006
on the belly.
