JOHN JONES SUNFISH (CLICK HERE)

John Jones is a very talented carver from Michigan. He makes a small number
of fish decoys per year and all are wonderfully folky and colorful. They are hand
made and hand carved with excellent coloration, style and quality. This
multicolored sunfish measures 5" in length. It is beautifully painted in a wide range
of colors and has carved gill and mouth features. The carver has signed the decoy
on the belly. The condition is excellent and unfished. A very impressive piece of
folk art.
