Jim Nelson is one of Michigan's premiere carvers of the modern era. His fish
decoys have a very folky and instantly identified style. His work is well known and
widely collected Here is a fantastic Jim Nelson Perch in a larger, 8 3/4" size. It
has carved mouth and gill features. It is hand carved and hand painted.
The condition is excellent and unfished. The estimated age is 1990s.
