Ernie Peterson has been carving fish decoys for many years. His decoys are of
consistently high quality and very artistic. They are hand made and hand painted
with excellent detail and nice accent painting. It has been reported that he no
longer carves due to age and health. This wonderful, mini Rainbow Trout measures
3 1/2" long and is in excellent, original and unfished condition. It has fully carved
gills, a carved mouth and glass eyes. The paint is beautifully blended and
detailed. I do not believe Ernie made many minis and they are very collectible and
difficult to find.
