RUSS HURLBURT DECOY 1960 CLICK HERE

Russ Hurlburt fish decoys are highly desireable and rare. A nice grouping
was found several years ago and most of them ended up in the hands of collectors.
They are very collectible given their folky form and paint. This example measures
6 1/2" long and is in beautiful, original condition with light wear and excellent
patina. The age is estimated at 1960. The decoy has a carved mouth and carved
gills which are accented with red paint. the eyes are small brass tacks. The
varnish has begun to take on a nice golden hue and the decoy has good visual
appeal and form.
