This exceptional Michigan Trout measures just under 6" in length. It is the actual
decoy pictured in the reference book TOP OF THE LINE FISHING
COLLECTIBLES by Donna Tonelli on page 25. It has carved gills which are
accent painted in red. The decoy is painted in a combination of gblack and cream
with mustard on the belly and green accent dots along the sides of the fish. The
form and visual appeal is outstanding. The estimated age is mid 1930s and the
decoy is in wonderful, original condition with light wear and excellent patina. T
