Isaac Goulette is regarded as one of Michigan's better, old time fish decoy carvers.
His decoys are highly collectible and early examples like this are in great
demand. It takes the form of a Herring and measures 4 1/2" long. The condition is
beautiful and original with typical light wear and excellent patina. The gills are
delicately carved and the eyes are small tacks.
