David Perkins fish decoys are long established in Folk Art Fish Decoy carving
history. They are included in collector's reference books on noted fish decoy
carvers as well as various limited edition prints. This outstanding Perkins
Pickerel measures 7 3/4" long. It has inset glass eyes and deeply carved gills. The
decoy is signed DFD (Duluth Fish Decoy) in the belly weight. Mr Perkins gives
each of his decoys a special patina which simulates age and use. It has been
completely hand carved and hand painted in a wonderful slopenose Pickerel
pattern. The condition is excellent and unfished with light wear. Please check the
