This great looking, folk art fish decoy was made by Thayne Johnson. Thayne's
decoys are well made and have very consistent, high quality. They are seldom
offered for sale. This great looking decoy resembles a Shad and measures 8 1/4"
long. It has old, glass lure eyes and carved gills. The condition is excellent and
unfished. The decoy is hand painted with a beautifully blended deep green and
yellow base that is accented in gold and black. The carver has signed this decoy
on the belly with his customary mark and it is numbered #65.
