DAVID PERKINS LARGE MUSKY (CLICK HERE)

This large and extremely difficult to find Musky was made by legendary Minnesota
carver David Perkins. It measures a whopping 23" long and is a real statement
piece. The gills and mouth features are fully carved and the gill plates are also
lined with three brass tacks on each side of the head. The eyes are glass and the
decoy has the old style, textured finish which this carver no longer uses. It is a
visually stunning piece! The decoy is also accented with Three old coins on each
side of the body. There are three old Indian Head Pennies and Three old Buffalo
Nickles in all. Mr. Perkins only insets old coins into his more expensive, higher
quality decoys and they add a nice element of visual interest and value. The
condition is beautiful, original and unfished with the maker's special patina which
simulates age.
