MINNESOTA FISH DECOYS~OLD
FRED LEXOW TROUT 1950s (CLICK HERE)
THE ACTUAL DECOY PICTURED IN
This highly unusual Fred Lexow trout dates to the 1950s and measures 6 1/4"
long. It has the highly desireable round body form and is painted silver with red
accents. The eyes are glass. Lexow decoys in this coloration were typically fitted
with a spinner tail rather than a tin tail as you see here. This tail configuration is
quite rare and is the only one of its type we have seen to date. The decoy is
completely original with normal light wear.
