Bill Green is best remembered as a contemporary fish decoy maker from
Minnesota. His decoys are featured in reference books on the subject and are very
collectible. His early decoys are extremely rare. This 8 1/2" pike has carved gills, a
wonderful, folky form and excellent patina. It is completely original. The line tie
position has been moved a few times as its owner tuned the decoy for best
performance. This was a decoy that was actually used in the early days.
