MINNESOTA FISH DECOYS~OLD
Oscar "Ole" Olson was an Anoka County, Minnesota sherrif. His copper fish
decoys are quite difficult to come by and very collectible. This fat bass is 9 1/2"
long and dates to about 1950. It was made by pressing copper sheeting into a
mold and then joining the two halves by soldiering. The glass eyes are pressed in
and the mouth is cut out. This decoy is completely scaled and the quality is top
notch. The decoy is completely original with a beautiful rich patina.
