Cecil Blank was an avid spearfisherman who is estimated to have made less than
100 decoys in his lifetime. There has always been some confusion as to
whether these decoys were made by Cecil Blank or his friend Rolf Opjordan.
The concencus is that both may have been involved to some extent. Cecil Blank
decoys are very tough to find and very collectible. The small cheaters are
incredibly unusual and very rare. This example measures 3 1/8" long and is
painted in red and gold with black accents. It has painted gill, eye and mouth.
