CHESTER BUSS 5 COLOR 1950s (CLICK HERE)

Chester Buss fish decoys are great examples of old time, hand made spearing
decoys that were sold semi-commercially in the golden age of darkhouse fishing.
They are well made and offer collectors the opportunity to gather many interesting
and unique examples at still reasonable prices. This 5" Pike is a real deluxe
model with five different colors of paint. Included are cream, red, brown silver and
green. It is in beautiful, lightly fished condition with very light wear and some
normal paint loss to the nose area. The age is 1950s. Chester Buss decoys are
very collectible and are well documented in reference books like FOLK ART FISH
DECOYS (available in the reference book section of this catalog).
